The Unity softball organization is adding two powerhouse teams from the state of Georgia that will be led by Todd Mayfield and Tony Vega, Unity founder/coach Josh Johnson announced.

Mayfield has been a longtime coach for the EC Bullets organization since 2012. His teams have many great finishes at big-time tournaments, including a Triple Crown national title in 2020 and 3rd place at PGF Nationals in 2017.

Vega has been coaching many top teams for years. He resides in Florida, but has coached teams locally and on the national stage (most recently with the Lady Dukes organization). He has helped develop many top players, including his daughter, Amiah Vega, an All-American infielder at Duke.

They will be in charge of Unity-Vega/Mayfield 16U and Unity-Mayfield 14U.
