Day 4 Space Coast USSSA Select 30:

Day 4 at USSSA Space Coast Select 30: A Day to Remember

The alarm buzzed at 7 a.m., marking the final day of competition at the USSSA Space Coast Select 30 event.

It was a cool 48 degrees in Florida. But that is a heat wave compared to the bone-chilling 7 degrees back in Tennessee. With our first game scheduled for 9:45 a.m., my team and I had to be on the field ready to warm up by 8:45 a.m.

Game 1:

Our first game was played in the Pride Fastpitch Stadium and I was ready to give it my all. I took the mound for two innings, facing seven batters and striking out three. It felt incredible to set the tone early.

At the plate, things got even better. I went 2 for 2 with the highlight being a towering home run out of Pride Fastpitch Stadium! The adrenaline rush as I rounded the bases was unmatched. I also added a triple and drove in three runs, helping my team take control of the game and securing the win!

Game 2:

After an incredible first game, I was thrilled to find out that I had been selected to the American Team for the Select 30 (All-American) game! It was an honor to represent this group of talented players and I was ready to step up again. A special shoutout to my Frost Falcon teammate, Charlee Campbell, for making the 2029 Select 30 National Team — what an amazing accomplishment!

In our Select 30 game, I went 1 for 2 at the plate, adding another triple and an RBI to my stat line. On the mound, I faced eight batters, striking out three. Competing against the best of the best was a challenge, but it pushed me to elevate my game even further.
