A new chapter for elite travel softball has arrived in Georgia.
LLG Softball has announced its expansion into the Peach State with the launch of two inaugural signature travel teams: the 12U Uprising and the 10U Ignite teams.

LLG President John Corn explains that the new teams will continue the program’s emphasis on on-field and off-field growth.
“Both programs will compete at the highest levels of travel softball, facing top-tier competition while serving as the foundation of LLG’s long-term commitment to player development and community-building,” Corn said on Thursday.
“We believe Georgia’s softball community deserves more than competition—it deserves collaboration, structure, and a foundation built on a genuine love for the game.”
In 2025, LLG celebrated its 25th year of developing athletes, families, coaches, and alumni who embody the organization’s core I.L.E.A.P. values, which stands for Integrity, Loyalty, Enthusiasm, Alliance and Passion.
Consistently recognized among the nation’s premier softball programs, LLG has intentionally remained a selective organization, with teams operating in only three states—North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia prior to the move into Georgia.
“We don’t franchise our teams,” said LLG 18U DPS Co-Head Coach Michelle Corn.
“Our priority has always been maintaining the culture, standards, and relationships that define who we are. We want to ensure we can support every player, family, and coach who joins our organization while protecting the strength of the LLG brand.”
“The decision to expand into Georgia didn’t come lightly; we wanted to do it at the right time with the right people and in the right way.”
The two new young teams mark LLG’s first presence in the state and the leaders of the successful organization believes they will represent a much-needed different approach to travel softball.
Each program is led by experienced, non-parent coaches with extensive playing and coaching backgrounds at the highest levels of the game. Their leadership reflects LLG’s commitment to transparency, intentional player development, accountability, and return to the principles that make softball a true team sport.
At a time when many families are searching for more than just tournament schedules and roster spots, LLG Georgia is focused on creating an environment where athletes are taught, challenged, and developed both on and off the field.

The decision to establish LLG in Georgia stems from a clear understanding of today’s travel softball landscape.
While the state is home to countless talented athletes and successful organizations, many families and coaches recognize a growing need for stronger collaboration, mentorship, and community within the sport.
Corn says that LLG Georgia was founded with the belief that organizations can pursue excellence without sacrificing integrity, partnership, and a shared commitment to growing the game.
“Our mission extends far beyond wins and losses,” Corn, the championship-winning coach and travel ball program lead, explains.
“We are committed to building an elite structure that prioritizes the development of players and coaches alike—one defined by alliance, accountability, and a genuine investment in the future of softball.”
“We want every athlete who wears an LLG uniform to leave our program as a better player, a better teammate, and a better person. At the same time, we want coaches and organizations across the softball community to view us as partners in growing the game, not simply competitors.”
As LLG enters Georgia, the organizational leaders are adamant that they will remain focused on its long-term vision: developing elite athletes, empowering coaches, strengthening softball communities, and creating opportunities that extend well beyond the field.
