is the driving force behind LTG, developing D1 prospects and the program into one of the top in NorCal and in the country. He helped guide LTG-Buck to the PGF 12U Premier finals in 2024 and his team placed #25 at PGF 18U Premier Nationals last summer. “I absolutely love Coach Joe (Henderson)! A big thing that he does is running our practices in a way that replicates game experiences,” Kentucky-bound P/1B Kwinci Brown said. “He’s also excellent at understanding and overall playing the game for the best possible outcome. But most of all, he’s simply a great person. He does so much for this organization and players that a lot of us wouldn’t be where we are without him!”

Tony Campos has been fostering D1 talent and developing the NW Bullets into the premier organization in the Northwest. His team placed #17 at PGF 18U Premier Nationals last summer. “Tony Campos was a huge part of my recruiting journey, always pushing me to get better and helping me get in front of the right coaches,” Oregon RHP Maddie Milhorn said. “He constantly gives his players honest feedback and makes sure they are on the field in front of as many college coaches as possible. Because of him, I’ve had opportunities I wouldn’t have gotten on my own. I’m really grateful to have had a coach, who truly cared about my future and getting me recruited.”

Bob Turner has developed a reputation as one of the top coaches in the Midwest and in the nation. He is currently the head coach of Top Gun’s premier 18U team and Top Gun’s director of national programs. Top Gun placed #9 at 14U Tier 1 Alliance Nationals last summer. “Bob is truly a great coach, but even better human,” North Carolina State-bound LHP/UT Kelsie Donaldson said. “He is highly-respected and rightfully so. I’ve played for Bob since I was 12 years old and he has always held me accountable, challenged me and led me to be a competitive leader on and off the field. Bob’s area of expertise is staying calm, cool and collected. He never gets angry or has any fear. He builds teams with such great culture that it is incredibly difficult to fail with them and him above you. He allows us to show our faith, true personalities and have fun. I’ve always felt free playing for Bob. He has so much trust in us, just as we do him.”

John Corn has built a reputation developing D1 talent and teams on the Atlanta Coast. He guided LLG to the PGF 16U Premier finals in 2024 and #9 at PGF 18U Premier Nationals last summer. “John Corn is a great coach because he isn’t flashy or loud, but because he is experienced and knows the game of softball,” Virginia Tech-committed 2027 OF Chloe Wools said. “I’ve been playing on his team since I was 14 years old, and now at 17 (years old), I’ve seen firsthand how much knowledge he brings to practice and games. Both my older sisters, Sophie (Wools) and Lillie (Wools), also played for him, which says a lot about the trust families in the organization have and the kind of program he runs. John Corn has been building his program, Lady Lightning Gold, for the past 25 years and that has happened because he is dedicated, understands players and knows what it takes to develop players to prepare them for the next level. He’s constantly helping players find the right opportunities, guiding them through decisions and making sure they’re prepared to play at the next level.” Army-committed 2027 OF Faith DeRing said Corn’s recruiting experience has been invaluable. “Coach Corn is really well connected with college coaches all over the country and plays a pivotal role in helping us navigate the recruiting process,” DeRing said. “It was awesome how involved he was with each step and how helpful and hands-on he was with our recruiting. Coach Corn made the recruiting process personal for each of us and made sure we were at all the right tournaments where we could play in front of the coaches from the schools that we were interested in. I’m so grateful for all the time he invests and the personal relationships that he builds with us. He truly wants to see each and every one of us succeed, which is what makes playing for Coach Corn and LLG so special!” East Carolina-bound C/3B Isabella “Bella” Moussa said Corn’s instincts hand knowledge have helped her. “John Corn is hands down one of the best travel coaches there (is),” Moussa said. “He knows what’s best for his players even if we don’t see it at the time and he always has a plan. He never does anything without a reason. He pushes us to our limits, but believes in us more than anyone. He’s genuine, never fake. I couldn’t be more grateful to be ending my travel ball career with him.”

Bruce Richardson has been one of the top softball minds in the country for a long time, developing many top D1 players and players who went on to become college coaches. His teams won PGF 18U Premier national championships from 2010-13 and his program won a national championships (PGF 14U Premier) in 2016 and reached the finals (PGF 12U Platinum in 2023, PGF 18U Premier in 2015) twice. “I think he has a lot of good connections to several schools and coaches being in the game long,” Washington OF Kaycie Budick said. “He will also always get his team on the best fields, playing the best competition and in front of the best colleges.” Seattle-committed 2027 P/1B/3B Chloe Mulcahey said Richardson has unique characteristics. “I think Bruce is an amazing coach and he truly cares for each of his players,” Mulcahey said. “It is rare to find a coach that will be honest with you and still keep your best interests in mind. He’ll be honest with you when you ask him something and that is so valued. He has seen a lot of talented athletes during his coaching career and I trust his advice and words of wisdom. His area of expertise is helping you know your strengths and how to build off of that. He always pushes us to be better and the best version of ourselves.”

Brittany Lewis made her reputation developing D1 talent at the younger age groups for the Tennessee Mojo organization, leading her team to a PGF 16U Premier national championship in 2024 and #9 at PGF 16U Premier Nationals last summer before forming the Armor Elite organization. “Her greatest asset is her ability to connect with her players,” Armor Elite coach Chad O’Neal said. “Kids that play for her love her and are loyal. She has a no-BS approach, but still has that ability to connect. She’s strong in the mental side of the game and spends more time in that area than most. (She’s) established recruiting success and respected by college coaches. (She) fights hard for her kids. (She’s) definitely a polarizing personality that has her share of detractors among travel ball coaches. Some don’t like me either, but that comes with success.”

Eric Jones has developed Select Fastpitch into one of the premier organizations in the Midwest and in the nation. He guided the program to the finals (PGF 16U Premier in 2023, PGF 18U Premier in 2022, PGF 18U Platinum in 2019) three times. They placed #9 at PGF 18U Premier Nationals last summer. “If I had to choose one area of expertise for Eric Jones, it would be development on and off the field,” Alabama-bound OF Ava Bush said. “His knowledge of the game and strategic planning are unmatched, but he does an unbelievable job of creating a true family culture that puts all players in the best position to succeed at reaching the level of play they are seeking. From development-planned training, to competing against the best teams, to ensuring excellent exposure to building an environment that creates internal competition for each and every player to maximize their potential, Eric’s focus on development is a key to his success!”

Sean Brashear is the co-coach of the Firecrackers premier 18U team and he runs the Firecrackers Brashear organization, which regularly contends for titles at top national tournaments. “Playing for Coach Sean Brashear was a huge blessing and played a key role in my development as both a player and a person in high-level softball,” Arizona State-bound MIF/OF/UT Sienna Yamashita said. “His passion and deep knowledge of the game are what set him apart from the rest. His experience shows in how he runs his teams and prepares his athletes for the next level. He has a strict, disciplined approach to coaching, but it’s very intentional. It pushes players to grow, stay accountable and COMPETE. Although he has a strict coaching style, Coach Sean knows how to have fun and carries a huge heart for all of his players.”

Ernie Munoz, with the help of his wife, Lindsay Munoz, has helped develop the Lady Magic organization to the top program in NorCal and one of the elite organizations in the country. He guided the Lady Magic to #3 at PGF 16U Premier Nationals last season. “Coach Ernie is an exceptional leader and it’s hard to fully capture everything he does for our team,” said Florida-committed 2027 1B/OF Taylor Jennings, who led the Lady Magic to the PGF 12U Premier national championship in 2022. “He’s built a culture centered on family and strong relationships and he consistently makes that a priority. One of his greatest strengths is his ability to push every player to reach their full potential. Even after a successful tournament or a championship win, he reminds us that there is always more work to be done. That mindset has been a key factor in both our team’s success and our individual growth. He challenges us not to settle, but to keep striving for our goals and continue improving. Because of that, the potential of this team is incredibly high.” Munoz’s wife, Lindsey Munoz, works hand in hand with Ernie as a coach and developing the Lady Magic organization. “Another important value he emphasizes is putting the team first,” Jennings said. “He’s taught us to be selfless athletes, both on and off the field, and that’s something that defines who we are as a group.”

James Lamar, whose, wife, Marissa, is the head coach at Duke, has built the Lady Dukes organization into one of the premier programs on the East Coast and in the country. He led the Lady Dukes to the PGF 18U Premier Nationals finals in 2025 and 2021. “Yes, obviously he’s my dad, but I think he’s one of the best in the game,” Duke UT Layla Lamar said. “He really knows how to push every one of his players and knows that not everyone can be coached the same. He finds a way to push every player’s buttons and get them to believe just as much as he believes that they can be better. Outside of that, he does a job of using all parts of the game, has always been a coach known to pull out small ball, run plays on the bases, put the infield in shifts, etc. Whatever he has to do to win a ball game, he will do. And lastly, he just brings so much fun and perspective to the game. He is your biggest critic, but also biggest supporter and would do anything for any one of his players. Not only that, but he brings in some of the top assistants in the game to help make the girls and the team better. Both Tori Lewis (Tennessee) and Laura Rothrock (former pitcher, pitching coach and mother of Keagan Rothrock) assist his team and bring the motherly love, but also fiery passion to the coaching staff. There’s none other like James or the Lady Dukes!!”
