Last week, we wrapped up our Line Drive Softball’s National High School Player of the Week series and, starting today, we turn our attention to standout weekly performances by travel ball or club players.
Just as we featured the High School Player of the Week every Tuesday since February, we now will do the same for the National Club Player of the Week through the end of the summer.
Each Wednesday for the next several months we’ll honor top travel ball performances nationwide; if you’d like to have a player considered, there are two ways to do so:

*** IMPORTANT!!! Submissions must be sent no later than each Tuesday at 8 pm EST/5 pm PST to be considered.
Today we recognize the outstanding play within the window of Monday, June 16 through Sunday, June 22, 2025 games…

It wouldn’t be an understatement to say that Madi Doty from Grandview, Texas is one of the top pitchers in travel ball today at any age.
Her list of accomplishments is jaw-dropping and includes her being ranked by Line Drive Softball as the No. 1 player in the Class of 2026 when compiled last year:

Additionally, the Texas commit has pulled off a feat we don’t think has ever been done with us before:
It wasn’t a walk in the park, though, as Madi had to go through two of the Top 5 nationally ranked Alliance teams and that she did impressively.
For the week, the Texan started six games and went 5-0 and in 22.2 innings had 28 strikeouts versus only one walk and three earned runs to give her an ERA of 0.93 and a WHIP of 0.57. Also strong: 66 percent of her pitches were for strikes.
Coach Shelton summed up Madi’s tremendous week in a nutshell when he said: “We lean heavily on Madi both in the circle and at the plate. She is a tremendous teammate and competitor and is just fun to watch. Madi is also a joy to coach.”

*** Jocelyn Leak, a sophomore lefty pitcher for Tulsa Elite 27/28 National, is already garnering the attention of several schools from multiple states according to Head Coach John Edmondson and last week showed why.
At the Top Gun Branson College Prospects Series playing up in the 18U division, Jocelyn lead the Tulsa to a 1st place finish as she pitching 12 innings and had 23 strikeouts of the 45 batters she faced.
Her ERA was a meager 0.60 and her batting average against just .163. Jocelyn even went 1.000 at the plate and now for the season has a .351 batting average.
In the circle, the 2028 standout has 128 K’s with a 1.55 ERA and a 1.173 WHIP.
*** Another Class of 2028 pitcher who shined last week was Victoria Hernandez, a right-handed pitcher and utility player for the Strykers National Gold team coached by Charlie Esparza.
For the week, Victoria tossed 16 innings with 11 K’s, a 1.188 WHIP and a .286 batting average against.
In the young summer season, Victoria has pitched 26.2 innings with 15 K’s and a 1.275 WHIP.
*** Kayla Valentin, an incoming junior middle infielder for the Clearwater Lady Bombers 18U – Santiago team, has been selected as a Fastpitch United Class of 2027 All-American and showed why last week both offensively and defensively.
At the plate, Kayla went 4-for-7 (.571 batting average) with a home run and three runs scored.
For the Summer of 2025 so far, she’s batting 536 in 33 plate appearances with a 1.487 OPS and in the dirt has a .957 fielding percentage.
At Wiregrass Ranch High in Wesley, Fla. this year, she received her team’s Outstanding Player Award and was selected as 2nd Team All-Conference.
*** Alayna Adamez, an incoming senior catcher from Woodbury, Minn. and a member of the Minnesota Magic 18U National team coached by Rick Pickett, was on fire last weekend.
The Class of 2026 standout committed to Southern Illinois University – Edwardsville in the Mid-American Conference played in eight games and in that stretch had 11 hits with three home runs, two doubles and a triple for a .688 batting average and a 2.22 OPS.
Alayna’s on-base percentage was a strong .722 and she now leads her team in all offensive and defensive categories over the last two tournaments for her team.
Behind the plate, she threw out three of the five runners who tried to test her arm.
*** Molly Davi is a 2027 right-handed pitcher for the Mojo-Lewis team and her team in the circle over the weekend to a title at the PGF Super Grand in Dalton, Ga.
Molly pitched every bracket game—four of them—on Championship Sunday and won each one of them.
On the weekend, she accumulated 5 wins and 2 saves while pitching 25 innings with 36 strikeouts for Coaches Brittany Lewis and Barb Sherwood.
Perhaps the most impressive stat: the incoming junior threw Herculean 402 pitches in the two days of the event.
