Line Drive Softball’s National Club Player of the Week (July 2, 2025)

*** Macie Bryant, the outstanding pitcher ranked No. 1 in the 2027 Line Drive Hot 100, concluded a strong week for her Impact Gold 16U – Jackson team at the Aurora (Colo.) Sports Park for the Alliance Super Cup.

Provided a strong cushion by her offense which totaled 11 runs in the championship win over Texas Glory 16U, Macie allowed only one hit in the four-inning run-rule win while striking out seven.

This follows a strong performance in June at the Team1 Elite Invite where Macie was named as a Co-Pitcher of the Tournament for her team squad coached by Jazz Jackson and led the Impact Gold to a runner-up finish.

In that event, the pitcher already receiving interest from top D1 programs nationwide had 34 strikeouts in 18 innings.

Saylor Timmerman

*** Another impressive pitching performance at the Alliance Super Cup which helped win a championship trophy was the work of right-handed pitcher Saylor Timmerman, ranked No. 7 in the 2025 class and an Arkansas signee.

In a run-rule win, Saylor pitched four inning and gave up three hits and no runs for her OC Batbusters – Stith team

*** In a championship final score (13-6) that looked more like a football game than a softball one, Texas Glory took the Alliance Super Cup 14U title behind the strong bat of Class of 2028 pitcher/utility Brooke Limbaugh.

Brooke had two hits including a home run and drove in five RBIs to spark the glory to the event title.

Sidney Forrester

*** Aces Fastpitch 18U – Taylor captured the championship at this year’s edition of The P5 Patriot Games which ran last Thursday through Saturday.

The offensive was explosive and led by two seniors, outfielder Sid Forrester who has signed with Missouri, and catcher Daily Engle who will play at Louisiana-Monroe.

Both college-bound talents knocked in six runs—12 between them of the 56 totaled by the Aces in the team’s seven games. As part of her half dozen RBIs, Dailey slugged two runs in the three days of action in Aurora, Colorado.

Jersey Intensity Head Coach Kevin O’Donnell had eight players hit homers at The Patriot Games.

*** Perhaps it was the thinner Colorado air, but you have to tip your cap to the prolific power bats of the Jersey Intensity 16U – O’Donnell team at The Patriot Games.

In five games, the team smacked 14 home runs along with eight doubles and drove in 40 runs.

Two players, Ella Reynolds, a 2027 outfielder and shortstop, and Josselyn Grimsley, a 2027 centerfielder, each had four apiece for Head Coach Kevin O’Donnell’s team which batted .415 as a team with a .800 slugging percentage.

Six other Intensity players also smacked a home run in the event:

  • Kelsey Smith (2026 corner infielder),
  • Cassidy Smith (2026 catcher),
  • Laura Chae “LC” Robbins (2027 shortstop),
  • Izzy Cino, (2027, middle infielder),
  • Bella Wuelfing (2027 outfielder)
  • Ryan McIntosh (2026 corner infielder).

Look for our video interview coming up soon with the newly named “Bomb Squad!”
