What defined Mick’s great summer, however, wasn’t big numbers or key accomplishments, but rather her perseverance through tough medical situations.

The incoming freshman was playing right-field with her team in a game before having a seizure after coming off the field.

Although unable to continue on the field, Mick came back and joined her team back in the dugout for Game 2 of the day, cheering more and being louder and prouder in supporting her team while she recouped.

That is the essence of sportsmanship and love of the game and, especially, lover for her team, earning her our final recognition as one of the top club performances of the Summer of 2025.
