Melissa High standout coach Cassie Crabtree and former USA Softball coach Iyhia McMichael have joined the Hustle Nation coaching staff, Hustle Nation’s Tim Ramon confirmed on Saturday.
Crabtree, formerly with the Texas Bombers organization, made a name for herself at Melissa High where she has over 300 victories and led the Cardinals to a Texas state championship in 2025. Crabtree was a three-time All-Conference player for Southern Arkansas. Her daughter, Caigan Crabtree, was a standout at Melissa High before moving on to Texas.
“I’m excited to be joining Hustle Nation and becoming part of a platform that is committed to developing championship mindset athletes,” Crabtree said. “My passion has always been helping athletes reach their full potential, whether that’s through skill development, mindset training, leadership or recruiting guidance. I’m super excited about the recruiting aspect as well and helping kids reach their ultimate dreams.”
Crabtree will be the National coach for Hustle Nation’s 2029 team.
“I will continue coaching high school softball,” Crabtree said. “I love Melissa Softball and love my girls. Coaching and building championship programs is a huge part of who I am and (I) plan to do that for both programs.”
McMichael was a three-time All-American and two-time SEC Player of the Year at Mississippi State and three-time NPF All-Star before beginning her coaching career.
Coach Mac will be the National coach for Hustle Nation’s 2030 team.
