The Alliance Fastpitch unveiled the 2025 Alliance All-Stars this week, celebrating the top senior softball athletes within the Alliance Fastpitch.

These elite players represent all nine Alliance Member Leagues and will compete in the fifth annual Alliance All-Star Game presented by EvoShield.

The 2025 Alliance All-Star Game is set for July 20th in Kokomo, Indiana, and will take place between the 10U/12U and 16U/18U Alliance Fastpitch Championship Series (AFCS).

*** Game time will be dependent on the national television time slot.

The Alliance All-Stars are selected by the organizations National All-Star Committee, chaired by Derek Allister, founder of OnDeck Softball, with representatives from each of the nine Alliance Member Leagues.

The selection journey begins in the Fall with a preliminary Watch List and is narrowed to League All-Star Teams. The final roster of Alliance All-Stars is chosen from those teams, with all athletes required to be active members of Alliance Fastpitch.

All selected athletes are signed to begin their collegiate softball careers at NCAA Division I institutions this fall. Every Power 4 conference (formerly Power 5) is represented, with the SEC leading the group with 17 athletes, followed by the Big 12 with nine athletes.

2025 Alliance All-Star Athlete Representation Highlights

• At least one player from each of the nine Alliance Member Leagues
• 22 travel organizations represented, including three first-time All-Star organizations (Mojo NW, Thunder Elite Premier, Unity)
• 31 different NCAA colleges represented
• All Power 4 conferences represented
• Texas leads with four All-Star signees; Oklahoma follows with three
• Four mid-major schools represented: Grand Canyon University, Northern Kentucky University, University of Tulsa, and University of Louisiana

Alliance Player Recognition

Many of the selected All-Stars have built their travel ball careers within the Alliance Fastpitch, now entering its fifth season.

These top travel ball players competed at premier events including the AFCS, Super Cup Series, and Stars of Tomorrow.

Many have earned recognition through Alliance Player Awards such as All-Tournament Teams, Player of the Month, Most Outstanding Player, and AFCS Skills Challenge honors.

Additional Honors

Several 2025 Alliance All-Stars have also excelled on the international stage as part of the USA Softball Junior National Team program. Addyson Sheppard (Stanford commit) is currently a member of the USA Softball U-18 Women’s National Team, while Saylor Timmerman, Elsa Morrison, and Harlie Chism represented Team USA on the U-18 squad in 2024. Their inclusion highlights the elite talent and development of athletes within Alliance Fastpitch.

In addition, Alyssa Hopkins (George Mason), Kai Minor (Oklahoma), and Rylie Holder (Arizona) continue to lead off the field as active members of the Alliance Player Advisory Committee (PAC).

Several All-Stars also played pivotal roles in the Texas Bombers Gold’s National Championship run in 2024. Hailey Nutter (Kentucky) earned the win in Game 1 of the Championship Series, while Elsa Morrison (Tennessee) and Isabel Cruz (Utah) both launched home runs to propel their team to a National Championship title.

Alliance American vs. Alliance National History

The 2025 Alliance All-Star Game will once again showcase the Alliance American and Alliance National teams, with rosters set to be announced soon. Previous matchups have delivered memorable moments:

• 2021: National Team narrowly defeated the American Team, 10-9.
• 2022: American Team secured a 4-0 shutout behind dominant pitching from NiJa Canady (Stanford) and Sydney Berzon (LSU).
• 2023: National Team claimed a 3-1 victory, powered by an Ella Parker (Oklahoma) home run.
• 2024: The contest ended in a dramatic 4-4 tie, the first co-champions in event history. Ella McDowell (American Team) got the scoring started with a two-run RBI single. Taylor Shumaker (National Team) walked and stole second, setting up the tying run. Townsen Thomas (National Team, Offensive Player of the Game) delivered an RBI triple to even the score going into the bottom of the seventh inning.
