The nominations are being accepted from NOW thru Monday, May 5, 2025 (two weeks from this upcoming Monday). The rankings will then start Monday, May 12, 2025...

Each weekday for a two-week period, we will honor deserving prospects via our countdown of 10 spots each day following this schedule:

• #’s 100-91 (Mon., May 12, 2025)
• #’s 90-81 (Tue., May 13, 2025)
• #’s 80-71 (Wed., May 14, 2025)
• #’s 70-61 (Thu., May 15, 2025)
• #’s 60-51 (Fri. May 16, 2025)
• #’s 50-41 (Mon., May 19, 2025)
• #’s 40-31 (Tue., May 20, 2025)
• #’s 30-21 (Wed., May 21, 2025)
• #’s 20-11 (Thu., May 22, 2025)
• #’s 10-1 (Fri. May 23, 2025)

Following the Class of 2028 rankings, the Classes of 2027 & 2026 will follow… here’s when those two classes will be featured:

• 2027 Line Drive HOT 100: running Aug. 18 to Aug. 29, 2025;
  • nominations officially open on July 28; close on Aug. 11.

• 2026 Line Drive HOT 100: running Oct. 6 to Oct. 17, 2025
  • nominations officially open on Sept. 15; close n Sept. 29.

The Line Drive Hot 100 is spearheaded by Line Drive Softball Executive Editor Brentt Eads, who began the softball player and team rankings format almost 20 years ago and in that time has done over 40 grad class rankings.

Each class is updated several times leading up to the players’ high school graduation and transition into college.
