Pitcher Lexi Kilfoyl has claimed the 2026 Athletes Unlimited Softball League (AUSL) All-Star Cup individual championship after finishing atop the 45-player leaderboard with 1,072 points.

Corner infielder Baylee Klingler secured second place in the final standings with 1,040 leaderboard points, while pitcher Sam Landry collected 908 points to end the season in third place.

Following the conclusion of the AUSL’s second season, 45 of the league’s top players were selected to compete in the 2026 AUSL All-Star Cup, a 12-game competition at Parkway Bank Sports Complex in Rosemont to crown an individual champion.

The All-Star Cup utilizes Athletes Unlimited’s innovative scoring format with players earning points based on game and inning wins, individual statistics and Game MVP voting and new teams drafted by the top three players on the leaderboard over the course of four weekly series.

The All-Star Cup capped a record-setting second season for the AUSL, which expanded from four to six teams and established permanent home markets for the first time. The league recorded more than two dozen sellouts while producing significant year-over-year growth across television viewership, merchandise sales and social engagement.

Kilfoyl joins the following list of individual champions of the competition, which was previously known as the AU Pro Softball Championship:

The athlete was appreciative of the honor, especially in competing with 44 others who are the elite of the pro softball world.

“These are truly the best softball players in the world around me, and knowing that I am number one out of this roster is truly an honor,” said Kilfoyl.

“As this league continues to grow and move in the right directions, this is all going to be very special moving forward. Knowing that I had my teammates to pick me up even when I wasn’t at my best really means the world to me.”

Kilfoyl, who earned her second career medal after placing second in 2024, authored a 3-1 record in the circle with a 1.98 earned run average while appearing in eight games.

The former Oklahoma State standout anchored the league with five Game MVP awards, including three MVP 3 certificates, and ranked second with 160 MVP points. 

Kilfoyl earned MVP 1 notice on August 23 after allowing just one hit over 4.0 innings with two strikeouts in Team Klingler’s 1-0 victory over Team Palacios. She also claimed a win in relief on Saturday night after scattering three hits in 4.1 innings to guide Team Kilfoyl to a 4-3 victory against Team Flippen. 

To commemorate the championship, Kilfoyl will receive a medal designed and hand-fabricated by Lisa Issenberg, founder of Kiitellä, inc.

Kiitellä is a Finnish word meaning “to thank, applaud or praise,” and Issenberg creates awards that are innovative, mixed-media, non-traditional works of art, pieces that celebrate accomplishment, humanity, and philanthropy.
