It’s finally HERE!
After two weeks of covering the Alliance & PGF Nationals, Line Drive Media now moves North of the Border with the start of the Canadian Elite Softball Camp kicking off today and runs through Thursday.
“When I first about this great opportunity for Canadian softball players, I was immediately sold,” Line Drive’s Brentt Eads remembers.
“I loved the concept presented by Tyler and Jen about this first-of-its-kind camp in Canada that will provide great instruction to the attendees and help elevate the sport here.”
The camp has exactly 100 softball athletes attending who were born between 2009 and 2014 from across Canada and the United States.
To keep the instruction specific and hands-on, dozens more were turned away.Â
Participants will receive instruction from current NCAA Division I players, alumni, and coaches while developing their skills in a highly competitive learning environment.
Taking place this week at the Georgetown Fairgrounds in Georgetown, Ontario, the three-day camp is being sponsored by Mizuno.
According to Ryan, the sports equipment and sportswear company is expected to have three team members on-site and says they’re excited to be part of this impactful event.
“We will have a full booth set up with a prize wheel for giveaways, and a bunch of product displayed with cards they can grab for their exclusive discount, fielding questions etc.” one Mizuno rep explained.Â
Makenna Bellaire, a catchr at Ole Miss, will lead the catching track that will cover framing, blocking, pop times and much more.
“Our booth will be a 10 x 10 tent with two large media walls so players and teams — anybody actually — can use it for photo backdrops.”
“There will also be two tables with product, the prize wheel and more!”
