Pictured: Naomi Stoll, a talented 2028 corner infielder who plays with the I-5 organization in Southern California, announced this week she’ll sign with Oregon State. Naomi comes from a great softball heritage: her mother is Nicole Giordano, who was an All-Pac 10 outfielder at the Univ. of Arizona, helped lead the Wildcats to the 2021 National Championship and in 2023 was a Gold medalist for Team USA at the Pan American Games.

Since our last update of the Line Drive Master Commit Spreadsheet on April 19th, 77 more players have been added to give us more than 2,500 commits now!
Starting last Sept. 1, we have seen players from all over the country–even Canada–commit… primarily in the Class of 2026 & 2027 but some 2024’s and 2025’s as well.
If your team has players not included yet, please email the player info to: Brentt.Eads@LineDriveMedia.com.

One of the great things we love about the softball community is how helpful many are in helping us be as accurate and comprehensive as possible.
For example, we had three travel ball organizational heads reach out this week to let Line Drive Media know we were missing some commits in our Master Commit Spreadsheet and sent lists to have their players included.

First, we got a great list of five talented seniors from Billy Basso, principal of the Red Devils and coach of the showcase team for the fastpitch organization based in Brooklyn, New York.

He also provided a nice comment on each as to what is helping each one take their game to the next level:
*** Selina Psarras, 3B, 2026, Washington Univ – St. Louis
Selina still hasn’t hit her ceiling. She’s a defensive stud who approaches the game like no other–down and dirty, a gritty “tough kid from Brooklyn.” Selina also plays for the Greek national team.
*** Madison Pender, MIF/OF/3B, 2026, University of Hartford
Madison is the most versatile player on the field and can play eight out of the nine positions and do them all at a high level. She’s very athletic!
*** Sammy Smart, 3B/1B, 2026, Brooklyn College
Sammy is a very tough out in the batter’s box and is gap-to-gap hitter and fun player to coach.
*** Alyse Boan, IF, 2026, Franklin & Marshall
Alyse simply plays the game hard.
*** Jazlene Rivera, OF, 2026, Bloomfield College, NJ
Jazlene has a lefty stroke and is an excellent defensive outfielder.

Next, we heard from Julie Joseforsky, the President of the Ohio Hawks organization and Head Coach of the Hawks National 18U team.
Julie has been a great friend of the program over the last several years and always has an impressive list of players who will compete in college.
We had one standout already in our database, 2026 grad Becca Conrad who will play at Syracuse, and Julie shared with us several more we’re happy to add to the commit list:

Finally, we got a great email from Rene Chapa, who runs the Impact Caymol – Chapa team based out of Texas.
She wrote:
“We’re fired up to get our Impact Caymol Chapa squad on your platform and have our players actively using and promoting Line Drive Media.”
“Here is a list of our 2027 list of commits:”
*** Mya Meza, MIF/OF, 2027, Western Texas College (JUCO)
Mya is a proven impact player who has consistently hit .300+ vs. quality pitching, with power to leave the yard and defensive versatility.
She also has strong measurables (2.9 H-1B, 60-61 mph overhand velocity) and a high softball IQ.
Mya has committed to continue her softball career at Western Texas College and projects as a strong next-level prospect.
*** Talyah Young, CF/MIF, 2027, Xavier University of Louisiana (NAIA)
Talyah is a hardworking, team-first athlete with a strong softball IQ and consistent production, hitting around .300 vs. 58-63 mph pitching with developing power (5 HR this year).
She posts a 2.9 H-1B and brings athletic defensive versatility with good arm strength.
Talyah’s consistency and work ethic make her an impact addition, and she has committed to Xavier University of Louisiana.
*** Gabrielle Perez, P/1B, 2027, San Jacinto College (JUCO)
Gabrielle is left-handed pitcher with a 58-mph fastball and steady year-to-year growth. A proven competitor with 300 career high school strikeouts, she continues to develop and add strength.
Gaby’s work ethic and upside have led to her commitment to San Jac College.
Here are a few of our recent additions who shared their happy news via social media…
