Since last Sunday (Jan. 28), when we last published our Line Drive Master Commit Spreadsheet, another xxxx in the 2027 and 2026 classes have been added to give us over 1,350 commits since we started tracking on Sept. 1! 

And since Sept. 1, the Classes of 2026 and 2027 have seen players from all over the country–even Canada–commit.

We love hearing YOUR commitment stories, so send them in and they might get published like the one we received this week1

For example, Kylie Stevens wrote to tell us that she had given her verbal to Head Coach Tripp Swisher of Southwest Baptist University, a private Christian school in Bolivar, Mo. that competes at the NCAA Div. 2 level.

Kylie is a 2026 grad from Woodstock, Ill. and shares with us how she learned she wants to be a Bobcat catcher starting this fall!

I met Coach Swisher at a combined softball camp and instantly liked him as a coach. I did write him before the camp to introduce myself.  

At the camp we had talked and he gave me all of his contact information so I kept in touch and he invited me to one of his camps and to hang out with the players. 

After getting on campus, I learned that his team is more like family. I loved that he is willing to work with my major in Nursing. The campus is beautiful and, outside of seeing pictures and looking into majors once on campus, I realized the pictures didn’t do the university justice! 

After hanging out with the girls and doing the camp I just knew that it was a school I could call home for the next 4-5 years! I’m excited to be a Bearcat and call the softball team family!
