Since Sunday (Dec. 21), when we last published our Line Drive Master Commit Spreadsheet, a dozen more in the 2027 and 2026 classes have been added to give us close to 1,100 now since Sept. 1! 

And since Sept. 1, the Class of 2027 has seen players from all over the country–even Canada–commit and there’s also been quite a few 2026’s who have announced as well.

Our latest commits cover a wide range of schools, conferences and divisions and include varied programs such as:

• Bowling Green
• Harvard
• Lamar
• Southeast Missouri State
• St. Thomas (Minn.)

… and more!

One of those new additions over the last few days is Meredith Thomsen, a standout 2027 outfielder who batted .410 in 122 at-bats and drove in 21 runs on the 5A Iowa state championship team, Waukee Northwest High.

Said one coach:

“Her quick hands gives her the ability to go deep into at-bats. Meredith is a tough out for pitchers as she’s a contact hitter with pop.”

 

“As a defender she is primarily an outfielder who tracks balls well and not afraid to lay out for her team.  Meredith can also play the right side infield when needed.”
