Event Coverage: The Clearwater Fall Invitational Starts Today, Runs Through Sunday (November 14, 2025)
This is Brentt Eads of Line Drive Softball… my beautiful wife Shannon and I are in Clearwater, Fla. which is where the center of fastpitch softball is gathered today, tomorrow and on Sunday when the championship games of the Clearwater Fall Invitational will be played.

For my money, this is the top club event of the Fall season and you could argue that–player for player, team for team—this is the top travel ball event of the year when it comes to pure talent.
And the college coaches sure know this is a must-attend stop.
It’s not unusual for some games at the Clearwater Invitational to have 50, 60, even 70 college coaches in attendance. Jim Barsalona, who oversees the event, said two years ago there were 270 coaches who showed up!
