Recruiting: 32 More Verbals Since Sunday Means Master Commit Spreadsheet Now at 862! (November 12, 2025)

Today–Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2025–opened up the Early Signing Period for the 2026 class, but it hasn’t slowed down at all the verbal commits coming in for the 2027’s and, yes, even the 2026’s.

Since Sunday (Nov. 9), when we last published our Line Drive Master Commit Spreadsheet, 32 more players in the 2027 and 2026 classes have finalized their college choices!

We LOVE hearing from you players, coaches and family members about the excitement of committing to a college so feel free to e-mail any info to Brentt.Eads@LineDriveMedia.com involving your great news & we may publish on our site.

*** Today’s spotlight commit is Peyton Stokes, a talented 2027 middle infielder and outfielder from San Clemente, Calif. who plays for the Watson Wolfpack club program.

She will be playing in Southeast Idaho at the next level as she’s committed to Idaho State.

Peyton said she fell in love with Idaho State on her campus visit.

Why the Bengals?

“I can say so many reasons why I love Idaho State University,” she told Line Drive today.

“I love the coaches, team, campus, the small-town feel, and the support the entire Pocatello community shows for the school.

“The coaches are amazing, and the team feels like a family. From the moment I stepped on campus and spent time with the team, I knew this was home.”

“My family and the coaching staff walked up to Red Hill, which overlooks the school and town, and in that moment, I knew it was the perfect time to commit.”

Everything about Idaho State is so special!”

An interesting note about Peyton is she played in this year’s Triple Crown International Challenge for Team Japan 18U.

How did Southern California talented junior get that honor?

Her mother, Stephanie, explains how it came to be:

“Peyton was selected by the Team Japan coaches,” she begins. “Peyton’s grandma, Mariam Aguillard, is half Japanese and her great grandma, Keiko Sato is full Japanese and was born in Japan.”

The athlete says the experience was one she’ll forever treasure.

“Playing for Team Japan was such an incredible honor,” Peyton says.

“I had the chance to play for something bigger than myself and bigger than the game. Looking up into the stands and seeing my Amma cheering me on meant the world to me.”

“Our team had amazing camaraderie and culture. I’m so grateful for the experience and can’t wait to do it again next year!”
