Nickname: My nickname has been “KitKat” ever since I was 7 years old. When I was playing soccer, there was another Katharine on our team. The coach needed a name that would differentiate me from her. “Kat” was a natural short form and I liked the candybar KitKat, so I suggested “KitKat.” My nickname carried over to softball. As I grew up playing softball, I was known as KitKat.
