Erie (Colo.) High’s Braelen Heer captured the latest MaxPreps/NFCA National High School Fall Player of the Week award, the Association announced on Tuesday.
She is being recognized for her outstanding play for the week of Oct. 6-12.
Heer was a perfect 6-for-6 at the plate for the Tigers’ three contests (all wins) with seven runs scored, two doubles, three walks, no strikeouts, nine runs batted in, and no runners left on base.
The sophomore had two hits with four runs and two RBI in a victory over Frederick last Tuesday, then drove in three with a single in her lone at-bat against Fairview a day later.
She capped her week by going 3-for-3 with two doubles, two runs and four RBI in another meeting with Frederick on Thursday.
