The 2026 Line Drive Hot 100 Player Rankings… Featuring #’s 80-71! (October 8, 2025)

We continue our extensive and final look at the 2026 Line Drive HOT 100 player rankings by featuring those talented athletes rated #’s 80-71.

Each weekday for the next two weeks we’ll honor players via our countdown with 10 spots each day with the following schedule:

T-80—Gracee Brewer, OF, Hotshots National – Jones 
Gracee is a steady outfielder who has elite-level speed and the ability to track down balls that often find the grass. That speed was on display this past summer for Hotshots National Galloway 16U as she led the team in stolen bases with 16. Her speed is also an asset on offense as she often turns outs into singles. Gracee was one of the team leaders hitting .365 and batted .435 in California during her team’s run to the championship game. She will play her college softball at McNeese State (Louisiana) in the Southland Conference. 

T-80—Ella Darby, C, Top Gun – Turner
Ella is a power-hitting catcher from Texas who is coming off an injury that sidelined her for the 2025 summer season, but she is expected to jump back this fall and make an immediate impact behind the plate.  Ella is the leading home run hitter at St Agnes High in Houston, leading the steam to a state championship and the Final 4 the last two years.  Head Coach Bob Turner comments: “She is a terrific receiver with a big arm behind the plate and she works tirelessly for her pitching staff.”

T-79—Teagan Fetcho, OF, Impact Caymol Premier
Teagan is a dual-threat outfielder who can work the gaps with her power slap game or put pressure on defenses with her short game. From Lebanon, Tenn., she runs a 2.7-second time home-to-first and stole over 30 bases this summer while hitting .420 with a .495 OBP. Offensively, Teagan keeps defenses guessing with drag bunts, slaps, and gap power, Defensively, she reads balls off the bat exceptionally well and closes on gaps with confidence. Head Coach Teo Caymol says: “Teagan’s communication elevates her teammates, and she thrives in high-pressure moments for out team.” Committed to Eastern Kentucky, she projects as an immediate impact top-of-the-order bat and lockdown defender.

T-79—Braelynn Jones, P, Hotshots National – Nelson
Brae is a crafty right-handed pitch who is learning to master her craft.  A student of the game, the Texas Tech commit from Seabrook, Texas, has the smarts and softball IQ to call her own game if necessary.  Head Coach Nate Nelson says: “Brae’s mindset is what you look for in a pitcher.  She can erase the negative to get to a positive extremely quick.” Scout love how she locates and changes speed on command. Hotshots coach Steve Jones added: “Braelynn is just a pleasure to coach and be around and she makes our dugout better.”

T-78—Brooklyn Ringgold, C, Breakers Labs – Bobby
Brooklyn is a versatile catcher with a 1.60 pop time and a big arm and strong defensive presence, On offense, she is a dangerous gap-to-gap hitter who posted a .431 batting average, a 1.249 OPS, and a .785 slugging percentage in summer play while maintaining a .982 fielding percentage. A proven winner, she helped lead Mater Dei (San Diego, Calif.) to CIF Division 1 and State Championships in softball, while also excelling as a three-year varsity flag football player and CIF D3 Champion. Off the field, Brooklyn carries a 4.43 GPA and founded Steps of Hope, a nonprofit providing shoes and shelter assistance to individuals experiencing homelessness. She’ll stay in SoCal to play for Santa Clara at the collegiate level.

T-78—Lilly Smith, P, Bandits Elite Premier Polk
Lilly is an excellent pitcher, but she is also an elite hitter. Committed to Wingate University in the South Atlantic Conferences, she led her team in innings over the summer, but was also one of the top hitters in a strong offensive lineup. In the circle, Lilly commands the zone at 61-to-63 mph with tight spin leading to more than a strikeout per inning and garners lots of weak contact. At the plate, she drives the ball well to both gaps and is difficult to strike out. This summer, she had 76 strikeouts in 67.1 innings and held opposing hitters to a .213 batting average while she herself hit .381 with a .469 on-base percentage. When not playing, Lilly gives softball lessons to kids at the local part in Monroe, N.C. where she grew to love the game as a youngster.

T-77—Jaidyn Harris, IF/C, Bandits Elite Premier – Polk
Jaidyn is one of the most feared left-handed hitters in South Carolina and she is looking to continue that at Furman University in Greenville, S.C. after graduation. She is an agile and versatile infielder who also catches and leads an offensive lineup with her power and ability to constantly get on base. Head Coach Jessep Polk comments: “Jaidyn has a patient approach that looks to punish a pitcher’s mistake, which leads to lots of walks and also lots of fireworks!” At Catawba Ridge High, she’s been part of three state championships and batted .451 with a .569 on-base percentage last spring. Jaidyn is also a standout in the classroom with a 4.67 GPA. 

T-77—Madi Johnson, MIF/3B, Aces – Taylor
Madi, who also goes by “MJ,” is small but might as an athletic infielder with a good arm and the ability to put the ball out of the park. Co-Head Coach Taylor Taylor explains: “MJ has an infectious personality and is super competitive on the field. She plays hard and has fun doing it.” The Missouri State commit found herself a home at shortstop this summer for Aces 18U Black where she hit .329 with 13 doubles, two triples and 23 RBIs. MJ is also fast and savvy on the bases shown by her 26 stolen bases and she was a key factor in helping Aces 18U Black finish 3rd at AFCS Tier II 18U.

T-77—Hannah Narcy, OF  Breakers Labs – Bobby
Hannah is an uncommitted left-handed power hitter who brings big pop to the lineup, posting a .473 batting average, .536 OBP, and 1.144 OPS. A two-time CIF league champion, 2024 CIF Division III and SoCal Regional State champion, she was the 2025 Offensive Player of the Year for her Oceanside (Calif.) High team. Hannah combines superb game instincts with high energy and leadership as both her high school and club team captain. Off the field, Hannah excels academically with a 4.11 GPA and serves as President of Fellowship of Christian Athletes and a member of National Honor Society.

T-76—Ava Koenig,  P,  BSC Bengals – Briggs
Ava is a dominate presence in the circle and is known for her sharp riseball and excellent command of all her pitches. She keeps hitters off balance with precision and confidence, controlling the game from start to finish. Offensively, she’s just as dangerous as she swings the bat with power and consistency. Head Coach Ken Briggs says of the Boston University-bound senior: “Ava is a strong and athletic competitor who brings energy and toughness every time she steps on the field. She’s been a great addition to the BSC Bengals Briggs team.  For Palo Verde (Las Vegas, Nev.) High, she was a 2025 state champion and was named as the Mountain League Pitcher of the Year.

T-76—Caidence Phillips, P, Iowa Premier – Dickel
Caidence, who is headed to the Univ. of Illinois, is a control pitcher who is consistent and composed under pressure. She racks up high strikeout totals—in one high school game for Carterville (Ill.) High, she had 17 K’s in seven innings and over a stretch of 16 consecutive games had six strikeouts or more.  Caidence has good command in that she walks few batters; in the game with 17 strikeouts she didn’t give up a walk.  This year in prep play, she went 24-1 with an era of 0.55 and had a whopping 297 strikeouts to earn 1st Team All-State in Illinois 2A. On the club side, she anchors a staff on her Iowa Premier team that features four Power 4 commits.

T-76—Sophia Reed, SS/2B, Colorado Batbusters – Smith
Sophia helped lead her Lutheran (Parker, Colo.) High team to a state championship last year and has been part of three state titles. In her high school career, she’s averaged .368 and batted .387 last fall for “LuHi.” The middle infielder hit .337 with 20 steals this summer for the 18U National Black team and Head Coach Joe Smith says: “Sophia is a tremendous defender who brings great speed offensively.  She can slap and also hit from the right side.” She’ll stay in-state to play for Metro State located in Denver.

T-75—Kate Landewee, P, Aces – Black
Kate is a right-handed pitcher with a nasty curve ball and can locate her fastball and change-up with elite ability. She throws 58-to-63 mph but the curve ball generates a lot of swing and miss. In her Missouri prep season for Kearney High, she’s on her way to breaking a single season strikeout record with 163 strikeouts in 76 innings pitched. It’s hard to generate any offense against Kate: she has a .101 batting average against and a 0.553 WHIP. When it’s hard to get on base, it’s hard to score and Kate’s ERA is 0.65 and she only allowed seven earned runs while throwing two perfect games as well as a no hitter. On the club side, she was the workhorse for Aces 16U Black where she  threw 162.2 innings and had 299 strikeouts. She’ll attend Lindenwood University in Saint Charles, Mo., a private school that competes in the Ohio Valley Conference.

T-75—Mackinley (Mac) Warren, IF/OF, Atlanta Vipers – Vaughn
“Mac” is a utility player who is committed to play collegiately at Shorter University, a D2 private school in Rome, Ga. which competes in Conference Carolinas. According to Vipers Head Coach Matt Vaught: “Mac has incredibly smooth hands in the field and a fluid athlete. She has a quick first step and great range, and a plus arm and also tracks the ball extremely well in the outfield and has a strong and accurate arm.” At the plate, Mac is at her best when driving the ball in the gaps and to the right side. She has above power and is almost impossible to strike out. A two-sport athlete, the senior is also a starter on the State Championship-winning Cherokee Bluff basketball team. As a junior last fall, she hit .420 and was named 2nd Team All-State after helping her high school finish 2nd in state. This year for the Vipers, she batted .430 with 27 RBIs, 29 runs scored and produced a 1.005 OPS.

T-74—Grace Danoski, P/2B, Bandits – Otto
Grace is a Jacksonville State commit who has a very heavy drop ball and, according to Head Coach Jason Otto: “she can be dominant in getting kids to ground out time after time after time thanks to a nice change up and pinpoint accuracy.” The right-handed pitcher is a senior at Hortonville (Wisc.) High and is a two-time 2nd Team Fox Valley Association (FVA) high school athletic conference honoree. She was originally committed to the Univ. of Houston and reopened her recruiting in July after a coaching change. Grace also is stellar in the classroom with a 3.95 GPA.

T-74—Eliza Shamrell, OF, Birmingham Thunderbolts Premier – Thompson
Eliza is a versatile and athletic defender who can play all the outfield positions as well as first base. She brings a solid bat in the left side of the box and uses her softball IQ to be productive in the box. Defensively Eliza covers ground as an outfielder with solid tracking abilities and a strong arm to keep runners from taking extra bases. The BYU commit is a has 2.8 second home-to-first speed and is also a standout in track for Pleasant Valley (Bettendorf, Ia.) High where, with a 3.94 GPA, she was named All-Conference and All-Academic Conference. She runs hurdles and helped her team make it to the Iowa state track championship. Along with being a great two-sport athlete, Eliza is also an all-state musician as she plays the bass clarinet and saxophone and has received honors with her musical skills as well as her athletic ones. 

T-74—Chloe Younggren, OF, Impact Caymol
Chloe is a rangy outfielder whose reads and speed make her a defensive standout. She consistently runs a 2.8 second home-to-first and covers the alleys with ease, taking away extra-base hits. Her arm strength measures 70 plus mph from the outfield, producing accurate throws that shut down runners stretching for extra bases. At the plate, Chloe batted .405 with 6 home runs, 12 doubles, and 25 RBIs this. Coaches value her composure in championship settings and her ability to set the tone defensively. A North Alabama commit, she projects as a reliable top-of-the-order outfielder in college who can impact the game on both sides.

T-73—Mia Kovacs, C, Bandits Elite Premier – Polk
Mia is a high energy leader, the kind that every coach loves to have on their team. She commands the field vocally and controls the running game with a strong, accurate arm. A USC Upstate commit, Mia will make a quick impact at the next level with her presence behind the plate and leadership to help any pitching staff achieve their full potential. From Fort Mill, South Carolina, she earned All-State honors for Catawba Ridge High as she hit .414 with a .532 on-base percentage and had 37 RBIs. This summer, Mia was named as a 1st Team High School All-American by Line Drive Softball and over the summer had a .382 on-base percentage and 1.000 fielding percentage for the Bandits. Academically, Mia also shines with a 4.2 GPA.

T-73—Ryoko (Rio) Schroth, P, Breakers Labs – Bobby
Ryoko, also known as “Riio,” is a standout two-way player who posted a 9-2 record with a 3.10 ERA for the Breakers while also hitting .329 with four home runs and holding a .958 fielding percentage. A proven winner, she was a huge factor in her Point Loma (San Diego, Calif.) High team being a CIF Division II champion, a Division III State champion, and TCIC International Challenge title winner. Known for her leadership and passion in the circle, Ryoko’s deceptive changeup sets up her dominant rise ball and drop ball, generating plenty of whiffs. Off the field, she shines academically with a 4.33 weighted GPA (3.9 unweighted), making her a strong all-around addition for the University of New Mexico. Her sister Nanako is a catcher for the University of Chicago softball team.

T-73—Molly Seedorf, 3B/1B, Colorado Batbusters – Smith
Molly is a skilled corner infielder for Joe Smith’s Batbusters team and this summer for the 18U National Black team she hit .313 with six home runs and 31 RBIs. Playing fall high school ball at Cherry Creek High in Greenwood Village, Colo, she started off this season with a .418 batting average, seven home runs and 27 RBIs. Coach Smith says: “Molly has been a top player in our organization for the past four years and has developed into a great third baseman with tremendous power and really good speed.” She is headed to Metro State on scholarship next year.

T-72—Vanessa Nawracaj, P, Impact Caymol – Casstevens
Vanessa been playing softball since she was six years old and her coaches rave about her dedication to the sport and her work ethic. Says Head Coach Dylan Casstevens: “Vanessa practices five to six days per week and is a great hitter, but she’s also down to earth and very friendly. She’s likes to teach younger girls the sport, too.”  A standout at Windermere Prep in Windermere, Fla., Vanessa  was a team captain for two years at a previous high school and has been on varsity for four years. She will play softball at Lander University in Greenwood, S.C. in the D2 Peach Belt Conference.

T-72—Mallory Reed, P, Team NC – Hinde
Mallory, a University of North Carolina commit, combines elite spin, command, and competitiveness with a long list of on-field and off-field accomplishments. She commands an arsenal of pitches including her curveball and rise ball standing out as her top weapons. Mallory produces collegiate-level spin rates, allowing her to miss bats consistently and accumulate strikeouts at an elite level. At Eastern Wayne (Goldsboro, N.C.) High, she had gone 34-10 over the last three years with a 0.38 ERA and has struck out an amazing 851 of the 1,189 batters she’s faced. Mallory has twice been named All-State and is a three-time All-Conference MVP. She’s also been a three-time captain in both softball and volleyball, showcasing her leadership across multiple sports. Head Coach Kevin Hinde says: “Mallory will bring immediate impact potential and strong leadership qualities to the Tar Heels’ program.

T-72—Taylor Vescogni, P, Bandits – Otto
Taylor is a Colgate commit and shines as a 5-foot-10 right hander who throws a powerful riseball in the mid-60’s complemented by what Head Coach Jason Otto describes as “an incredible change-up that buckles hitters’ knees.” She’s been a varsity starter for LaSalle-Peru Township High in LaSalle, Ill. since her freshman year and has been named to the Illinois 3A All-State team after a strong junior season that saw Taylor lead her team to a 30-6 record and a 10-0 mark in conference.

T-71—Aliyah Allen, OF, Colorado Batbusters – Smith
Aliyah is one of the top uncommitted players in the 2026 class and has tremendous speed from the right side with really good power. Defensively she is a skilled outfielder and really good middle infielder showcasing her athleticism and versatility. Aliyah was 2nd team Texas All-State at the 5A level for Leander High after leading her team to the state semifinals. For The Batbusters this summer, she batted .377 with nine home runs and stole 21 bases. Head Coach Joe Smith says: “Aliyah had a great summer as our No. a hitter in the lineup.  She can do so many things offensively and gave us great power from that spot.  As a defender, Aliyah made so many great plays for us. She is still weighing her options and will be an impact player wherever she decides to go.”

T-71—Lexi Cortez, SS/3B, Explosion Premier – Denio
Lexis is one of the top defensive middle infielders in the 2026 class with smooth hands and a cannon for an arm. Head Coach Bret Denio believes: “She covers both the 5-6 hole and up the middle as well as any out there. She’s quiet and unassuming and is just a hard-nosed player who goes all out at all times.” Offensively, Lexi hits well as a line-drive hitter looking to shoot the game. She is also one of the best bunters on any team she plays for. Coach Denio adds: “Lexi is high on the list of those who practice the art of bunting and no one is better when you must get the ball down.” The West Coast standout will play for North Dakota State and her head coach says: “The Bison got a good one in Lexi.”

T-71—MacKenna Jackson, SS, Texas Glory – Shelton
Mackenna is a shortstop on Kevin Shelton’s top 18U and he praises her as being “just tremendous this year as she routinely delivered in the clutch.” Offensively, the 2026 grad from Keller, Texas, drives the ball to all fields and batted .313 for the year in Alliance competition where she helped her Texas Glory team win the 18U TFL Summer Championship and take 5th place at Alliance Nationals. Defensively, she made 41 assists and was smooth in the six hole. At the high school level, MacKenna was named Texas 6A All-State this year. She is committed to the University of Kansas.
