Bayard’s (Neb.) Kaidence Lee collected the latest MaxPreps/NFCA National High School Fall Player of the Week award, the Association announced on Monday.

She is being recognized for her outstanding play for the week of Sept. 22-28.

Lee keyed Bayard to a 3-1 week with her perfect performance at the plate, going 12-for-12 with five home runs, 18 RBIs and 10 runs scored.

She added 10 runs, a double, two walks, nine stolen bases and a 2.333 slugging percentage.

Lee capped off her tremendous week with a pair of long balls and eight RBI in a 13-1 victory over Lexington.

The freshman opened the week with a 7-for-7 outing in a twin bill sweep of Chase County and registered four RBIs in each contest, scored a total of seven runs and homered three times—twice in Game 2–to go along with six stolen bases.
