Scouting Report (via Coach Randy Kaye):

“At just 14 years old, Peyton came in young,” Coach Kaye begins, “but as the younger sister in an athletic family, she stepped into the program like a pro.”

“She’s always the first to practice, rolling out, catching bullpens, and ready to work. She began as the No. 4 catcher on the roster but simply outlasted her competition through consistent effort and reliability.”

What does she do well on the field, we asked?

“Behind the plate, Peyton is solid,” the ROGUE FC head coach continues. “She is trusted by her pitchers and equipped with a strong, accurate arm to control the runners.”

Peyton also has the athleticism and tools to play in the infield if needed there.

“Heading into her sophomore year, Peyton became the go-to catcher and will continue to draw attention from top Power 4 programs. Facing elite 18U pitching will only sharpen her offensive game, where her advanced pitch recognition and power make her a difference maker.”

At an athletic 5-foot-8, Coach Kay adds that the Arizona teen is also capable of playing shortstop, giving her versatility that adds even more value.

“With her athleticism, work ethic, and maturity,” Kaye concludes, “Peyton is only going to keep improving as she develops.”

Peyton is the youngest of four children with her older sister Maddie Udall-Wooley being an incoming senior starting corner infielder for BYU in the Big 12.

In 2025, she batted .286  with an on-base percentage of .333 and started 39 games for the Cougs at first base posting a .990 fielding percentage with 279 putouts and five assists.

Maddie was also a three-time Arizona All-State selection (2022, 2021, 2019) when she preceded Peyton at Sunnyslope High in Phoenix.

Coming from an athletic family overall, the sisters also have an uncle who played baseball for BYU and a grandfather who played football at Southern Utah.
