We will be kicking off our extensive look at the updated 2027 Line Drive HOT 100 player rankings by featuring those talented athletes rated #’s 100-91 next week on Monday, August 25.

Brentt Eads, who is in charge of compiling the Line Drive Hot 100 player rankings for Line Drive Softball, underwent successful gall bladder surgery on Monday morning and will be back in action soon.

This class will also be updated again next year so know that there will be significant changes still to come in the future.

Each weekday for the next two weeks, starting on August 25th, we’ll honor players via our countdown with 10 spots each day with the following schedule:

• #s 100-91 (August 25, 2025)
• #s 90-81 (August 26, 2025)
• #s 80-71 (August 27, 2025)
• #s 70-61 (August 28, 2025)
• #s 60-51 (August 29, 2025)
• #s 50-41 (September, 1 2025)
• #s 40-31 (September 2, 2025)
• #s 30-21 (September 3, 2025)
• #s 20-11 (September 4, 2025)
• #s 10-1 (September 5, 2025)

Line Drive Softball will also list those prospects ranked #’s 101+ as well as the 2027 Class Position Rankings, Regional Rankings and a spotlight on the top-rated player.
