Club News: Mojo - Ramsey/Fisher Loads Up with Talent to Be One of the Top 18U Teams to Watch Next Year (August 7, 2025)

Tis the season for club team rebuilding (fa la la la la…) and one of the most talent laden 18U travel ball teams assembled for next year in our opinion is the Mojo – Ramsey/Fisher squad that is chock full of many of the best 2026’s and ‘27’s in the nation.

Mojo Co-Head Coach Ramsey Harkness

Putting together a team is not a science, of course, and there are multiple ways to do so including having tryouts or run academies where players are developed.

As Coach Ramsey Harkness told Line Drive on Thursday, there’s no one right way to do it.

“It’s not always a perfect science or recipe,” he explained. “There are times where we’ve had kids reach out to us like this year and it’s been one of the quickest years we’ve had in terms of getting our roster finalized. One year, we merged with Michael Danley and had great success with that, but it’s ever changing.”

One reason for the Mojo’s success, Ramsey believes, is that his team is built around providing strong nationwide competition while working together “drama free.”

“No one way is perfect,” the coach continues, “and we just hope to achieve the same common goal of getting these young ladies ready for the next step in their lives including playing on the biggest stages and ultimately winning a national championship at our level (travel ball) and at the next (college.)”

It’s not just about the softball, the Arizona resident believes.

“We strongly feel it’s also about improving life skills and now that we have the team solidified, we won’t get together to play in a tournament until later October at the Mojo invitational.”

“Our approach is that we want the players to enjoy school and hope they go to school football games and to homecoming dances among other things. My wife and I have two daughters and we believe it’s so important to treat players with respect while allowing them to live their lives as young ladies preparing for the future.”

This year’s newly assembled team features a dozen 2026 standouts going to Power 4 schools and four elite 2027’s who are getting serious recruiting attention, too.

Impressively, this year’s roster features players from 12 different states and is a combination of what Ramsey describes as “phenomenal players and their families “that moved up from Brittany Lewis’s teams along other standout players from across the country that wanted to be part of the Mojo experience.

On Wednesday via social media, the newly assembled Mojo 18U team was announced and below is what was released including the roster and why the coaching staff is excited to pull it all together (note: text has been edited slightly for clarity and consistency).
