PGF All-American Games: Interviews with the Futures & Seniors MVPs (July 27, 2025)

Following the morning PGF 18U and 16U Premier National Championships on Saturday, July 26, 2025, the afternoon was filled with All-American action as the two games featured Sophomores versus Juniors and then Seniors vs Seniors (East vs. West) competing at Deanna Manning Stadium at Bill Barber Park in Irvine, Calif.

Here’s our interviews with the two MVPs right after the conclusion of their games…

Futures All-American Game MVP – Milan Torres

Game 1 featuring the younger athletes finished with a score of 10-7 and was won by the Juniors who got a nice start in the first inning when Milan Torres, the 2026 outfielder ranked No. 7 in the Line Drive HOT 100 rankings, hit a first inning home to get the offensive sparks going.

The Texas A&M-bound standout was about to be interviewed on ESPN when her teammates hilariously put their gloves on her head—a half dozen at least by our count!

Milan had to stand there and be serious as she was interviewed and it was hilarious!

After that, Line Drive’s Brentt Eads interviewed Milan when things had quieted down a bit… here’s the clip:

Seniors All-American Game MVP – Kendall Wells

The East vs. West seniors contest was more of a pitchers’ game as the final score was 3-1 East and the MVP of that game was outstanding catcher Kendall Wells, the Oklahoma signee who was named by Line Drive Softball as the National High School Player of the Year two weeks ago.

Kendall was also named as the No. 1 prospect in the Line Drive Class of 2025 HOT 100 rankings announced last fall.

Tonight, she also got her team on the board first as she hit an RBI double and with her work behind the plate and at third base she was named the Seniors All-American Game MVP, a nice sendoff to the confident leader who will be a Sooner very… well… soon.

Kendall talks about this game being the end of her high school & club-aged career and what’s next…
