Ohio-committed 2026 RHP Kara Lint, #42 in the 2026 Line Drive Hot 100, recently talked to Line Drive Media about Ohio Outlaws-Acord, PGF/Alliance Nationals, winning an Ohio state championship, helping her team win the recent 18U Louisville IDT title, Ohio players, building endurance, LLG DPS-Corn, overlooked skills, Abby Lint, Ohio, teaching, biology, Michaela Edenfield, “The Great Gatsby,” Chumbawumba, “SpongeBob SqarePants,” “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation” and playing viola.

Nickname: “Hollywood.” (It) came from a pair of sunglasses I found in the ocean that I decided would be perfect for softball. My grandpa, Andy Burrier, still calls me “Hollywood” when he wishes me good luck and tells me good job.

I got called “Grandma” by coach Steve (Williamson) and team because not only was I the oldest on the team, but I acted motherly and baked cookies.
