We love to find and profile young-and-upcoming talent and, today, we talk to incoming sophomore catcher and corner infielder Ellie Kate “EK” Billings and learn more about this 2nd Team Line Drive Softball High School All-American.
EK had a tremendous year for Munford (Tenn.) High as the then-freshman batted .446 with a .480 on-base percentage and had 33 RBIs while scoring 30 runs.
The Class of 2028 grad is impressive in the classroom as well with her 4.3 GPA, serving as Student Council President and being a member of both the Spanish Honor Society and the Key Club.
As if that wasn’t enough, she took the ACT in the 8th grade and scored a 22, which places her in the 71-percentage profile (meaning she scored higher than 71% of all ACT test-takers!).
