The American Collegiate League (ACL) has announced the launch of a new summer collegiate regional league—the New England Collegiate League (NECL)—coming to South Boston in 2026.
The NECL will join the current four ACL regionals which include the:
“We are extremely excited to expand collegiate summer fastpitch in the Northeast,” said ACL Director Ryan Moore.
“The New England Collegiate League will give many northern college programs and its athletes the opportunity to develop and stay closer to home if they choose to.”
The NECL will feature four new teams next year:
All ACL regional league champions will face off in July of 2026 in the Summer Collegiate World Series (CSWS) which will be hosted by Fastpitch United to bring together the amateur and professional team levels as part of the grand event of the CSWS.
NOTE: player registration for all American Collegiate League teams will begin September 1, 2025, on the American Collegiate League website.
