This week and next, Line Drive is recognizing standout high school players across the nation for the 2024-25 school year in our annual High School All-American lists.

These include athletes in states who play in the fall like Georgia, Colorado, Missouri and Oklahoma and those that compete in the spring into the summer.

Below is the schedule that includes our recognition of 1^st & 2^nd Team All-Americans as well as the High School Player & High School Coach of the Year.

Note: “Multi-Purpose” honorees are those who play multiple positions at a high level and/or pitch and are prolific with the bat.

• Monday, July 7 – Line Drive Softball 1st Team All-Americans (Pitchers)
• Tuesday, July 8 – Line Drive Softball 1st Team All-Americans (Catchers)
• Wednesday, July 9 – Line Drive Softball 1st Team All-Americans (Infielders)
• Thursday, July 10 – Line Drive Softball 1st Team All-Americans (Outfielders)
• Friday, July 11 – Line Drive Softball 1st Team All-Americans (Multi-Purpose)
• Monday, July 14 – Line Drive Softball 2nd Team All-Americans
• Tuesday, July 15 – Line Drive Softball High School Player of the Year
• Wednesday, July 16 – Line Drive Softball High School Coach of the Year

Those chosen have been selected based on criteria such as:

• accomplishments, stats and honors

• importance to the success of the team

• on-field abilities, skills and talent
• off-the-field resume, i.e., academic success, community involvement, etc.

Our list is deep and extensive as we feel it necessary to honor all those who deserve to be recognized as a Line Drive Softball High School All-American

1^st TEAM LINE DRIVE SOFTBALL HIGH SCHOOL ALL-AMERICANS—MULTI-PURPOSE

Lilly Bethune (Sr., C/3B, West Limestone, Lester Ala.)
Lilly was a MaxPreps All-American this year after tying for the national lead at the prep level with an astounding 31 home runs which were part of a .541 batting average and an incredible 91 RBIs (which is a career’s worth for many high school players) to help her team go 44-7. Lilly also scored 82 runs. She will play college ball at Middle Tennessee State. 

Natalie Cable (Sr., P/UT, Bloomington, Valrico Fla.)
A lefty pitcher headed to UCLA, Natalie earned MaxPrep All-American honors as she went 13-6 with a 1.47 ERA and had 194 strikeouts in 104.2 innings pitched. Offensively, the Sunshine State senior batted .528 with 36 RBIs and 14 home runs. Her on-base percentage was .630 and in 25 games played Natalie drew 17 walks and finished with a 1.250 slugging percentage and a 1.889 OPS. She finished her prep career ranked No. 5 in the 2025 Line Drive HOT 100.
