#17 Texas Glory upset #5 Texas Bombers Gold-Smith, 7-4, in the 18U championship game on Sunday at Allen Station.
“It was an excellent weekend for the team and the TFL,” Texas Glory coach Kevin Shelton said. “The weather and facilities were fantastic.
“Our pitching, defense and offense all came through in important moments, giving us a chance to compete against some of the best teams in the state and country. Our effort and mindset were acceptable.”
2027 C/1B/3B Hutton Adrian (.526 AVG, 2 HRs, 13 RBIs), 2027 MIF/3B/OF/UT Hope Guadio (.467 AVG, .500 OBP), Florida-committed 026 1B/3B/UT Kennedy Bradley (.476 AVG, 3 HRs, 9 RBIs) and 2027 MIF/OF/UT Finlee Williams (.545 AVG, 2 HRs, 7 RBIs) led the Texas Glory offense. Texas-committed 2026 RHP Mady Doty (0.93 ERA, 22 IP, 28 Ks) was the top pitcher for Texas Glory.
Texas Glory defeated Glory Adkins Gold, 5-1, Impact Gold-Jackson, 3-2, and Texas Bombers Gold-Smith, 7-4, in Elite 8 bracket games.
Texas Bombers Gold-Smith defeated American Freedom National, 7-1, Texas Blaze United-Robertson, 13-4, and lost to Texas Glory, 7-4, in Elite 8 bracket games.

16U: TEXAS BOMBERS GOLD-SERIE 8, IMPACT GOLD-VAUGHAN/JAZZ 2
#4 Texas Bombers Gold-Serie handled #44 Impact Gold-Vaughan/Jazz, 8-2, in the 16U championship game on Sunday at Cottonwood Park.
Bombers-Serie was led by 2028 IF Ashlynn Kennedy (.429 AVG, 6 hits), uncommitted 2026 IF Addison Otto (.412 AVG, 7 hits, 2 HRs), UTA-committed 2026 IF Braelyn Bailey (.400 AVG, 8 hits, 1 HR) and 2027 P Peyton Philipp (11 IP, 0 ERs, 15 Ks).
“Winning the TFL Summer Tournament is huge for our group after winning it in the fall also,” Bombers coach Dale Serie said. “Having this momentum going into P5 Patriot Games will be great as we will face some really good teams. We have a really young team with plenty (of) first-year 16U players so watching them compete this weekend and finding ways to win was exciting. I’m super proud of their maturity and just overall happy for them.”
Bombers-Serie defeated Impact Gold-Jazz, 1-0, Texas Blaze United-Robertson, 3-1, and Impact Gold-Jazz/Vaughan, 8-2, in Elite 8 bracket games.
Impact Gold-Vaughan/Jazz defeated Hotshots Premier-Torres/Castilla, 9-2, Texas Glory, 4-3, and lost to Bombers-Serie, 8-2, in Elite 8 bracket games.

14U: TEXAS BOMBERS GOLD-MALPASS 2, BOMBERS GOLD NATIONAL-HORNBAKER 1
#2 Texas Bombers Gold-Malpass pulled out a 2-1 victory over Bombers Gold National-Hornbaker in the 14U championship game on Sunday at Old Celina Park.
Bombers-Malpass went 7-0 and outscored its opponents, 68-3.
Leading the offensive charge was 2029 OF Courtney Latronico, who was nearly unstoppable at the plate, hitting a scorching .737 with 14 hits and 9 RBIs. 2028 C/1B Jilly Gonzales provided serious power, hitting .467 with 2 home runs and 12 RBIs, while 2028 1B/3B Ava Capek added to the fireworks with 3 home runs, 12 RBIs, and a .444 average.
On the mound, the Bombers’ pitching staff was lights out, combining for 34 innings with just 2 earned runs allowed and 34 strikeouts—good for a microscopic 0.41 ERA. 2028 P Maliyah Lewis was sensational in the circle, going 3-0, tossing 14.2 innings of shutout softball and striking out 17 along the way.
Bombers-Malpass defeated Bombers Gold Futures-Malpass, 5-2, Athletics Mercado 09-Christie/Zito, 8-1, and Bombers-Hornbaker, 2-1, in Elite 8 bracket games.
Bombers-Hornbaker defeated Buzz National, 9-0, Impact Gold National 2029-Holmes, 6-0, and lost to Bombers-Serie, 2-1, in Elite 8 bracket games.

12U: BOMBERS GOLD NATIONAL-BRYANT 4, TEXAS BLAZE UNITED 3
Bombers Gold National held off Texas Blaze United, 4-3, in the 12U championship game on Sunday at Mesquite Softball Complex.
2030 P/MI Aubrey Prescott (.579 AVG, 11 RBIs, 2 HRs/7 IP, 0.857 ERA), 2030 P Sanieya Jackson (19.2 IP, 4 wins, 23 Ks, 1.52 ERA) and 2030 C Ryanne Saldana (.571 AVG, 3 HRs, 10 RBIs) were the leaders for Bombers-Bryant.
“This tournament is what we have building for since fall,” Bombers coach Thad Bryant said. “We are now peaking at the right time and these girls will run through (a) wall for each other. TFL Championship is key to jump starting us into Alliance in Indy. When you come out last one standing here … it means something.”
Bombers-Bryant defeated Bombers Gold American, 6-3, Texas Blaze 2K13-Drury, 9-1, and Texas Blaze United, 4-3, in Elite 8 bracket games.
Texas Blaze United defeated Hotshots Naudin Premier 2K12-Lopez, 6-4, Impact Gold National 2K13 OZ, 5-1, and lost to Bombers-Bryant, 4-3, in Elite 8 bracket games.
