Here’s the schedule for the rest of the year (note that the 2030’s were done earlier this year before the 2029’s):

• 2028 Line Drive HOT 100: running May 12 to May 23, 2025
  • nominations officially OPEN NOW!!!
• 2027 Line Drive HOT 100: running Aug. 18 to Aug. 29, 2025;
  • nominations officially open on July 28. 
• 2026 Line Drive HOT 100: running Oct. 6 to Oct. 17, 2025
  • nominations officially open on Sept. 15. 

The Line Drive Hot 100 is spearheaded by Line Drive Softball Executive Editor Brentt Eads, who began the softball player and team rankings format almost 20 years ago and in that time has done over 40 grad class rankings.

Each class is updated several times leading up to the players’ high school graduation and transition into college.
