2030 P Malloree Harr of Frost Falcons, #3 in the 2030 Line Drive Hot 100, has joined Line Drive Softball to provide live blogs during her journey to compete in the WBSC U-15 Women’s Americas Qualifier from March 22-29 in Acapulco, Mexico.

Today is the day I have been waiting for since I found out I made the U-15 USA Softball Women’s National team.

I woke up at 3:15 a.m. to head to the Chattanooga airport for my 7 a.m. flight. While I waited at the airport, I caught up on some schoolwork.

The flight from Chattanooga to Atlanta was really quick. Once in Atlanta, I grabbed a bite to eat and waited at the gate for the next flight to Mexico City. During the wait, I met up with some of my teammates and coaches. Leona Eichholz, Ansley Johnson, Allison Eichholz, Ashleigh Bronowicz, Kelly Kretschman and Jillian Callaway boarded the plane to Mexico City. It was a longer flight, so I took a short nap. Once we arrived in Mexico City, we went through customs, had to go through a couple of passport checkpoints, and grabbed a snack. While we waited to board our plane, we met up with some of the Canada Softball team. It’s always fun meeting new players.

Finally, it was time to board the plane for Acapulco, Mexico! The flight wasn’t long at all and the views from my window seat were beautiful!
