The D1Softball Top 25 poll has been released following Week 6 action.

The top five teams in the nation all hail from the same conference in the D1Softball Top 25 poll following week six action around the country.

No. 1 Oklahoma holds onto the top spot after a three-game series sweep over Arkansas. The Sooners sit at 6-0 in SEC play in their first year in the league.

Texas remains at No. 2 after a series win over Florida in Gainesville. The Longhorns now possess the best series victory of any team in the country after beating the No. 3 Gators in two of the three games between the teams.

Florida and LSU continue to hold the No. 3 and No. 4 spots, respectively, while No. 5 Texas A&M rounds out the top five.

A total of four teams are new to this week’s poll. No. 20 Ohio State, No. 23 Arizona State, and No. 25 Cal enter the poll for the first time this season, while No. 24 Florida Atlantic returns to the top 25.

The SEC leads all conferences with 11 teams ranked in the top 25. The ACC placed five teams in the poll, while the Big 12 is represented by four programs. The Big Ten placed three teams in the top 25, while the American and Conference USA each had one team in the rankings.
