Honors: We’re currently in my first High School season, so I don’t have anything for my high school career in softball, yet. In travel ball, I’ve received a couple of 1st Team selections in Alliance tournaments. I received 1st Team Southwest All-Region Infielder by Extra Inning, received a ranking of #52 in the Elite 100 for Extra Innings and received a ranking of #31 (in the 2028 Line Drive Hot 100) by Line Drive Media.

Travel Ball Summer 2024 Stats: .417 AVG, .433 OBP, 16 hits and 14 RBIs.

Travel Ball Fall 2024 Stats: .474 AVG, .576 OBP, 23 hits and 15 RBIs.

Tell us about your travel team/organization and how you became involved with them? I can’t say enough good things about the Buzz organization! I started playing travel ball when I was 10 (years old) and went to a Buzz tryout. The only jerseys hanging in my closet are Buzz jerseys! My teammates are the best! We have a squad full of talent and after some huge wins this past season, we’ve made lots of noise. We compete against each other every week and it brings out the best in me. My coaches are awesome! They dedicate so much time and energy to develop us as players and I’m grateful for that. Coach Trey (Holdbrook) is my dog!!!

Tell us about your experience at Alliance Nationals? My team qualified for Alliance Nationals, this year, so we’ll be headed up there this summer.

What makes players from the state of Texas special? I think that the level of competition here in the state is solid. This state takes women’s fastpitch very serious and I think that shows every weekend at these high-end tournaments. Players from Texas, I feel like, are tough and have a ton of grit!

What was your highlight of the fall? What have you been focusing on this offseason? Our team beat Impact Gold-Vaughn/Jazz, 1-0. I walked it off in the bottom of the 6th! I was so proud of the performance of our team that game!

I’ve been focusing on becoming more explosive and stronger before the summer gets here. One of my skill-sets is speed, so I continue to work on that part of game a lot!

Which player/team has been your toughest opponent and why? I would say (McKayla) Hranicky from Impact Gold-Vaughn/Jazz for the player because she’s tough to hit with that leap in the circle. I would say Impact Gold-Jazz for the team because of the talent they have all around the field.

What have you faced/overcome in life that has made you the person you are today? I got to a point a-year-and-half ago where I thought about taking a break from the game. I was in a major hitting slump and just couldn’t find a way out. Kaygen Marshall (an older Buzz sister) talked through some of those situations with me, worked with me on my game and really helped me understand that I didn’t have to be perfect. That period in my career was huge for me because I learned how to mentally flush things, keep a positive mindset and focus on the next at-bat or next play.

Do you have any family members/siblings that are athletes? I’m the oldest of four, but all of my siblings play multiple sports and their names are Kolt, Tripp and Reese Seward. I’ve had two uncles that were All-American football players. Ryan Seward was an All-American at Tarleton State and Keith Reineke was an All-American at (Mary Hardin-Baylor).

What are you looking for in a future college? A place that feels like home. A great college education to benefit me for life after softball. A strong connection with the coaches. A program that has a great culture. A campus that has a fun environment.

What college camps are you planning to attend and why? Texas, Baylor, Kansas, Houston, Sam Houston (State), McNeese State, Texas State and Tarleton State. I received invites to most of these schools to attend camp.

What areas are you interested in future occupations and why? Coaching or Architecture. I come from a family of coaches. My grandpa was a head football coach for many years and both of my uncles are currently coaching here in Texas. Architecture is a profession that I’ve always been interested in. I think I would love designing unique custom homes.

What’s your favorite subject to study in school and why? English, because I really enjoy writing.

Who is your sports hero and why? This one is tough because I have two — Sis Bates (a three-time Softball America Defensive Player of the Year and two-time NFCA All-American at Washington) and Janae Jefferson (a three-time 2nd Team All-American at Texas). I love how both players attack the game, how intense they are as competitors and how both have such positive attitudes.

What’s your favorite book to read and why? Reading bible verses because it brings me closer to God and I love starting my mornings off by reading my daily devotions.

What’s the best hype song and why? “Bigger in Texas” by Megan Thee Stallion. This one is definitely on my pregame and workout playlists!

What’s your favorite TV show to binge and why? “Gossip Girl” because of the crazy storyline and it always keeps me on my toes!

What’s your favorite movie and why? “The Parent Trap,” because it’s a super cute movie with a happy ending!

Do you have a secret talent/skill? This is actually funny … Baton Twirling! Haha, I got bored very easily when I was younger so I would grab my baton, go outside and start twirling it. I ended up getting really good at it and I do it with my bat all the time before games!
