Our first 2025 National Player(s) of the Week were Melissa (Texas) High teammates Fin Willians (left) and Lulu Adrian. Melissa has proven this year to be one of the time prep softball teams in the nation, frequently being No. 1 in the country!

Send Nominations for Line Drive Softball’s National High School Player of the Week By Monday 5 PM (Feb. 28, 2025)

We are three weeks into our Spring 2025 high school coverage honoring Line Drive’s National High School Player of the Week and the prep performances have been outstanding!

Each Tuesday for the next several months we’ll honor top performances across the country for the prior week (Monday thru Sunday)… here’s how to nominate deserving players:

Finlee Williams, honored on Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2025, as our first National High School Player of the Week in 2025 along with her teammate Lulu Adrian.

Nomination Process

Line Drive Softball is honoring a National High School Player of the Week and deserving runners-up.

Honoree(s) are announced every Tuesday and the cutoff for submitting the nominations is each Monday at 5 pm EST/2 pm PST.

We’re looking for standouts who excelled in the circle, at the plate or in the field so be sure to nominate your favorite performance(s) by submitting the following:

  • Player Name
  • Grad Year (example: Class of 2025 or Senior)
  • Position(s)
  • High school team name with city/state
  • Stats for the week (be as detailed as possible!)
  • Up-to-date season stats if possible
  • Recruiting information (if applicable)
  • Any interesting background on the player
  • Action and/or head shots
  • If possible, contact info if we’d like more info or quotes
