Rising Star: 2027 P/C/IF Pamela Boyarko from Colorado… Already putting Up All-State Numbers As A Sophomore (Feb. 22, 2025)

In January, Line Drive Softball profiled outstanding 2029 middle infielder Abby Stenerson who plays for the Colorado Batbusters organization and was selected as a Top Performer at the 14U USA Softball HPP National Selection Event last summer.

Abby Stenerson of Team USA.

Abby plays for the Batbusters team coached by her mother, Robin Stenerson, who played at Stanford 1998 to 2002 and, in 2001, was a member of the first Stanford team to participate in the Women’s College World Series.

Having played with and against elite travel ball competition, Abby, when was asked by Line Drive’s Carlos Arias who has been her toughest opponent, gave a surprising answer.

“The toughest player I’ve ever competed against is probably my own pitcher, Pam Boyarko on my Batbusters’ team,” she began.

“We’ve been teammates for just over five years and have really bonded over our love for the game. During practice, we often hit live off pitchers to mimic hitting in a game.”

“Pam and I have this unofficial game to see who will win in each match-up. We are both very competitive players, who want to win no matter what. When Pam and I hit live, I want to get a base hit while she wants to strike me out. Although we’ve never truly talked about this, Pam and I both know that we’re playfully competing with one another each practice. It really does make us better players.”

Here’s a closer look at the Colorado native who is quickly becoming recognized as one of the top prospects in the 2027 class…
