Last Friday, Line Drive Softball announced the Top 10 players in the 2025 Line Drive HOT 100 and No. 1 on the list of outstanding seniors was Kendall Wells, the dynamic catcher who competes for the Georgia Impact team coached by Kip Taylor.
Kendall is also part of a tremendous signing class Oklahoma Sooners Head Coach Patty Gasso and staff have picked up and, last Friday when I spoke with the senior at North Ocones (Bogart, Georgia) High, she was on the road with her parents, Ken and Greer Wells driving to spend the weekend visiting the OU campus some 15 hours due west.
Second of four very athletic girls, Kendall’s older sister Karlee Wells is a diver at Georgia Southern University and her 16-year-old old younger sisters, Kourtney and Kamryn, are active in barrel racing—the rodeo event involving horse riding.
In this clip, the energetic, polite and well-spoken senior talks about her amazing softball journey including her decision to play at Oklahoma, her strong return from a major injury and Kendall’s reaction to being named the top prospect in this strong ’25 class!
