The 2026 Line Drive HOT 100 nominations window is closing fast with Tuesday, Sept. 3 (the day after Labor Day) being the final day to send submissions.

The rankings countdown starts Monday, Sept. 9, 2024… and will go from 100-to-91 to 10-1 over the course of two weeks, honoring 10 slots per day.

Following the ’26’s, the  Class of ’25 will be net up (see the rankings dates for this year below).

The Line Drive Hot 100 is spearheaded by Line Drive Softball Executive Editor Brentt Eads, who began the softball player and team rankings format 15 years ago and in that time has done over 50 grad class rankings (note: each class is updated several times leading up to the players’ high school graduation and transition into college).
