PGF Nationals Photo Gallery: Newport Harbor Yacht Cruise for Senior All-American Players & Their Families (July 23, 2024)

Monday, July 22, was Media Day for the 40 senior athletes who will be participating in the Premier Girls Fastpitch High School All-American Game this Saturday, July 27 on ESPNU.

The morning consisted of the 20 players for the red-clad East team and the 20 for the blue dressed West team to get sized for the uniforms and also to do some studio clips introducing themselves as well as hanging some fun–including dance together—with other players.

At 2:30 pm, the players and their families drove to Newport Beach to board a large and exquisite yacht that took all on a four hour slow “cruise” around the Newport Beach Harbor.

The yacht came with great amenities including a lounge with couches to relax, a deck with tables and chairs and the upper deck that providing gorgeous views of the ocean as well as the mansions sitting on the water—some reportedly as much as $16 million dollars!

Here are some sites and sounds of the harbor cruise and the enjoyment the players and their parents had being together, meeting new people and renewing previous softball relationships…
