There’s a lot to like about Emma Anderson, a 2027 catcher/infielder from Eaton, Colo., who travels almost every week from her state to California to train and play with Marty Tyson’s prestigious Corona Angels program.
Last week at Boulder IDT, she batted .500 with three home runs among her nine hits and drove in nine runs.
Here’s a clip of one of her home runs:

Two weeks ago, Emma helped her 14U team go 5-1 at Patriot Games and finish in the Final 4.
Earlier this year, the backstop helped her Eaton Reds varsity team go 28-1 and win the Colorado 2A state title and Emma was a key reason why.
She led the Reds varsity squad with 80 at-bats, 50 runs scored, 40 hits, 15 doubles and 24 steals in 104 plate appearances while being second on the team with eight home runs and third with a .500 batting average and a .606 on-base percentage.
The freshman was also named 1st Team All-State and All-Conference and even shines in the classroom as she has a 4.0 GPA.

Her notable pop time and overhand velocity not only showcases her strength but her athleticism behind the plate. She is already being followed by the top college programs in the country and will only gain more attention throughout this summer season playing on one of the top 14U teams in the nation.
Noteworthy:
Both of Emma’s parents were college athletes, her father in football and her mother in women’s basketball.
