Today’s club team spotlight takes us to the Peach State where we focus on the nationally-competitive Athletics Gold 18U team led by former Florida State pitcher Stacy Tamborra.

Based out of Marietta, Ga., the A’s compiled an overall record of 63-24-2 over the last year and went 18-5-1 in the Fall of 2023 playing top events in the Southeast. 

Among the top finishes last year were the following:

• 1^st place at the PGF’s Show Me the Money tourney in Atlanta, Ga.,
• Top 17 finish at PGF Premier Nationals
• Top 17 finish at the Boulder IDT,
• Won their pool to earn an overall No. 1 seed at the inaugural Patriot Games in Colorado,
• Finished 7^th in PGF’s Show Me the Money June event in Newberry, FL in 2023. 

Impressively, all the players are committed or have signed to play D1 softball including programs in the SEC, ACC, Big 10 and American Conferences. 

The Athletics Gold 18U – Tamborra will kick off its Summer 2024 schedule on May 31st at the Birmingham Thunderbolts Invitational followed by appearances at the Champions Elite Showcase, Patriot Games, Boulder IDT, Atlanta Legacy Invitational and conclude with PGF Premier Nationals in Huntington Beach, Calif in July.
