Player Spotlight: 2028 Line Drive Hot 100 Hitter Dailynn Battee of the Corona Angels

On Monday, we open the nominations for the Line Drive Hot 100 for the 2028 class and (spoiler alert!) one player that will be highly ranked is talented third baseman/outfielder Dailynn Battee who plays for the talented Corona Angels – Tyson team led by coaching great Marty Tyson.

Dailynn Battee (right) with Charlotte Baum and Malaya-Majam Finch at the USA Softball All-American Games in 2021.

Last year, she was in the Top 10 of the Pacific Coast Fastpitch League (PCFL) hitting stats for the ’28 class as the lefty hitter (right-handed thrower) batted .429 with five home runs and a .881 slugging percentage.

Dailyn has been watched by major colleges for years—this weekend, in fact, she’s at the Univ. of Oklahoma for a camp—and previously played in the USA Softball 12U All-American Games.

A dangerous power hitter who has played against the best – and really impressed – this is definitely a player to watch for the future and we caught up with Dailyn recently to see what she’s like on and of the fields.

Here’s a closer look at this rising star…
